The Department of Technology and Natural Resources offers two programs, namely, Bachelor of Science (Food Technology) with honours and Bachelor of Science (Biodiversity and Conservation) with honours. The program of Bachelor of Science (Food Technology) with honours has been developed with an aim to produce the graduates with high employability in fulfilling the needs of industry based on science, technology and engineering. Meanwhile, Bachelor of Science (Biodiversity and Conservation) with honours includes various theoretical and practical disciplinary approaches to produce holistic and knowledgeable graduates in the fields of biodiversity and conservation meeting the demands in order to cater the needs for future carriers along with the contribution to the community growth.

The department consists of 14 specially designed laboratories for the programs of Bachelor of Science (Food Technology) with honours and Bachelor of Science (Biodiversity and Conservation) with honours to fulfil the teaching, learning and research requirements. The laboratories are state-of-the-art and well equipped with modern instruments to facilitate the students in their learning objectives including the research projects. The department also offers research-based programs at Masters and PhD levels with the support of expert and devoted academic staff in the fields of food science, food technology, biodiversity, and conservation.
